Helldivers 2 – KD2 Tool Setup Guide

⚙️ Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure you’ve installed the required runtimes and tools:

⚠️ Note: Poopoo/KD2 may be unstable on Windows 11 x64 24H2 + Win 10 22h2

🔒 Pre-Loader Instructions (Required)

  1. Disable Windows Defender (or any antivirus that could block the tool).

  1. Disable UAC (User Account Control)

  2. Disable Real-time protection YOU NEED TO DISABLE ALL 3 OF THE ABOVE.

  3. Run Steam as Administrator

    • Right-click Steam → Run as Administrator

    • Simply double-clicking Steam will not work.

📂 Step 1 – Preparation

  1. Download the loader from above and extract them into a new folder on your desktop.

  2. Open the "Before Folder"

  3. Right Click the PooPoo.exe

  4. Click Properties

  5. Go to the compatibility tab

  6. Under settings, check "Run this program as administrator"

  7. Click Apply, then OK

  8. Drag Drag_Me_In_Poopoo.dll onto Poopop.exe.

  9. A prompt will appear.

  10. Launch Helldivers 2 from Steam.

  11. On the black loading screen, wait for the beep sound.

    • If no beep plays → close Helldivers 2, restart Steam in Administrator mode, and retry.

🎮 Step 2 – Using the Loader

  1. Navigate back to the Loader folder while game is open.

  2. Run KD2 Loader.exe as Administrator.

  3. Log in with your KD2 account credentials.

    • This is not the same as your website login.

    • If you don’t have an account → register one inside the loader → Enter License Key.

  4. Wait for the confirmation beep and the in-game hell tool to appear.

    ⚠️ Important Notice for Helldivers 2

    If you are using the following features:

    • Max Resource (XP)

    • Complete Objectives

    • Fast Extract

    • Sample Modifier

    👉 You must be the host. 👉 Disable Max Resource / Complete Objectives after boarding the ship to extract.

    This should fix the crashing issue 🙂

❗ Troubleshooting

  • Unknown PC Message → This means your PC needs a reset. If it keeps appearing, double-check your ID/PW. If you’ve lost your ID, contact support with your license key.

  • Game Crashes on Update → Always download and use the latest version of Poopoo. → Remove older versions to avoid confusion.

  • Zendesk GG Error → Navigate to Steam → Helldivers 2 local folder. → Rename or remove the GameGuard folder. → Restart the game to reload GameGuard files.

📝 Notes

  • Some older features may be removed in newer builds.

  • Account resets are not available. Support can only recover your ID, not your password.

  • Always back up your KD2 login details somewhere secure (phone, drive, etc.).

  • Use responsibly — tool is intended for personal use only.
