App Issues

App won’t open / closes after login Download and install: VC++ Runtime

Stuck on Activating

  • Verify CH340 is connected to flashing PC

  • Make sure Arduino is flashed and in Gaming PC

  • Mouse should move when plugged into shield if flashed properly

Stuck on Waiting for Bootloader

  • Click the Reset button on the Arduino/Shield when prompted

  • Ensure Arduino is plugged into 2nd PC for flashing

Could not find CH340 device

  • Confirm CH340 is plugged into PC and recognized

  • Reinstall latest CH340 driver

No data found - wired mouse only

  • Wireless mice must be connected with a wired cable to Shield

  • Ensure mouse shows power; if not, inspect solder joints

  • Remove 5V/VCC from CH340 and restart if still stuck

QC Test Failed

  • Indicates hardware fault (Arduino or shield)

  • Try different USB ports (some supply more voltage)

Login/Serial Request Failed

  • If Xenmouse.com works but app fails, something is blocking server access (firewall/VPN)

Hardware Issues

Mouse not moving when connected to Arduino

  • Mouse must show power

  • Go to β€œBluetooth and Devices” and look for ZOWIE not XenMouse Temp

  • Try all USB ports, try different mice

Aim not working

  • Use KMBOX B+ input method @ 115200 baud

  • CH340 must be connected and visible in Device Manager

  • Device must be activated BEFORE launching software

Mouse moves erratically after inactivity

  • Common on wireless Logitech devices

  • Update firmware in G Hub and use On-Board Memory mode

Mouse feels delayed / wrong DPI

  • Must be set to 1000Hz polling rate

  • Enable On-Board Memory if your mouse supports it
