To spoof the VID/PID of your kmbox net we will use your main/gaming pc to check the VID/PID of your original mouse (even on controller). So plug your kmbox as usual.
Download the files we need (Winrar required) : Kmbox-net / USB Log View
Getting the VID/PID : run USB Log View on your main pc. And you should see a similar interface :
Unplug your mouse from your computer and then plug it back in to locate your VID (Vendor ID) and PID (Product ID), even if you are a controller player, use the VID/PID of your mouse. Write these down as youβll need them later. For example:
Now on your SECOND PC, Open the kmbox net tool as admin and enter your kmbox net details (you can find them on the KMBOXNETβs screen) into the top left section of the tool (IP, port, and UUID). Check the small ping box and click on the large button next to it. If a popup appears indicating a successful ping, you can proceed. If it doesnβt connect, try restarting the kmbox by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Enter the VID and PID you saved above into the white VID/PID text box located in the βDeviceβ section. Click the question mark button beside it to write the values. A popup will confirm the spoofing is successful. (You can check the video if you don't understand everything by text). Here is an example :
Open USBLogView again. Unplug and replug your kmbox net in. It should now display the same VID and PID as your mouse.
