Press Win + R, type %localappdata%, and press Enter. Open the Rift folder, then navigate into the resources subfolder.
C:\Users\<your_name>\AppData\Local\Rift\resources
Step 3 β Fix the LibTorch Files
If there is a libtorch.zip file in the resources folder:
Delete the libtorch folder (not the .zip)
Right-click libtorch.zip and select "Extract Here"
β οΈ Do not delete libtorch.zip β only delete the libtorch folder. You will need an extraction tool such as 7-Zip or WinRAR to extract it.
Step 4 β Try Again
Start Rocket League and wait until you are fully in the lobby. Then right-click RiftLoader.exe and select Run as administrator. It should now work correctly.
Step 5 β If It Still Fails: Run authfix.bat
Download and run the authfix.bat script as Administrator. It will automatically fix network issues, add Windows Defender exclusions, and re-download LibTorch if needed.
π‘ Right-click authfix.bat and select "Run as administrator" β it will not work correctly without elevated permissions.
