DMA TroubleShooting
ERROR - [FAIL] VMM INIT FAILED.
Power Cycle the Device:
Turn off the device.
Wait for 5 seconds.
Power it back on.
Note: This resolves the issue 99% of the time.
Check Error Numbers:
If the error message includes numbers, identify them.
Determine if they are all zeros or contain other numbers.
Avoid Misdiagnosis:
Do not use "VMM INIT Failed" alone to diagnose DMA issues if you've already attempted the steps above.
Note: Always refer to specific error numbers for targeted troubleshooting beyond basic steps.
If it has 0’s that means the issue lies in the DATA port not having an active connection. Below is an example of VMM INIT failing using the lone speedtest tool from here
Other checks:
Verify the D3XX FTDI driver has been installed on the 2nd PC. You should use version 1.3.0.10 unless you advised otherwise by a dev team.
Download ZIP, right click on the .inf file (should be the middle of the three files), click install.
Verify you have your DMA plugged into the DATA port and not the JTAG port unless you are flashing firmware or getting your DNA ID.
Make sure your card is not kill-switched / powered off (you should see lights on if the DMA is powered on)
If your error is showing like the photo below, still failing but shows numbers, you should verify the following:
Your DMA has 2 static lights. Color does not matter, but make sure they are not blinking.
The card was not plugged in with the power on to the PC.
Your firmware is showing in device manager, and the driver has been installed for the donor device on main PC.
Often times this second error can be fixed with a simple shut down and turn back on of the main PC.

USB Connection Troubleshooting
Check Physical Connections Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the device and the PC. Inspect the cable and ports for any physical damage.
Try a Different Port Plug your USB device into another USB port on the PC. This can help rule out a faulty port.
Test with Another Device Connect a different USB device to the port to confirm if the issue is with the USB device or port.
Power Cycle the PC Restart your PC to resolve any temporary software issues that might be affecting USB functionality.
Update USB Drivers Navigate to Device Manager, locate Universal Serial Bus controllers, and update the drivers.
Check Power Management Settings Disable USB selective suspend setting in the Power Options to prevent the system from powering down the USB ports.
Scan for Hardware Changes In Device Manager, scan for hardware changes to re-detect the USB device.
Run Troubleshooter Use Windows Troubleshooter for hardware and devices to automatically detect and fix problems.
Uninstall and Reinstall USB Controllers In Device Manager, uninstall the USB controllers and restart your PC to reinstall them automatically.
Check for Windows Updates Ensure your Windows OS is up to date, as updates can include essential hardware driver updates.
Reinstall Windows
If troubleshooting efforts fail, consider reinstalling Windows as a last resort. Back up important files before proceeding with a clean installation to avoid data loss.

Verify DLL Files: Ensure that
symsrv.dllanddbghelp.dllare available in your working directory. These files are essential for proper operation.Internet Connection: Confirm that your device is connected to the internet and that no firewall rules are preventing necessary connections.
Download Latest Info.db: If issues persist, download the most recent
info.dbfile from the MemProcFS repository for the win-x64 platform, and include it in your setup.
FPGA: TINY PCIe TLP Algorithm auto-selected!
Check USB Connection: Verify that the USB cable is securely connected at both ends to prevent any interruptions in data transfer.
Try Different USB Ports: Sometimes, a specific USB port may not function optimally; using a different port can help identify the issue.
Firmware Update: A slow DMA card might be due to bad firmware. Reflash the card with the current firmware or test firmware (ensure to save the existing firmware first) and check if the behavior persists.

Game PC per the setup steps per the software vendors specs Troubleshoot your USB Connection. see above for steps Last resort: Re-install windows on Game PC.
DMA Test Tool - Test Result: FAIL / General Failures
Description: This is most commonly due to your speed/throughput being too low.
Speed under 4000 Mem/Sec.
Throughput under 125 MB/s.
A. Poor USB Connection (Most Common)
Solution:
Ensure your USB Cable is a data-rated (not charging-only) USB 3.0 Cable and is securely seated on both ends (DMA Card & Radar PC).
On your Radar PC, go into Power Plans and set your plan to High Performance.
Try different USB Ports and USB Cables.
Re-seat the DMA card in its PCIe slot. The card's bracket can sometimes prevent the USB cable from fitting securely.
B. Firmware or Hardware Issues (Less Common)
Solution:
Some Vanguard/Faceit 'bypass' firmwares will reduce the speed/throughput of your card.
If your Radar PC is significantly below recommended specs, this can diminish performance.
Note: Software may still run with lower speeds if the connection is stable. Run a speed test for ~360 seconds and look for any 'drop outs'. A stable, but slower, connection may be usable.
DMA Software – Not loading up, entities disappearing or not showing, other anomalous behavior:
This is most commonly caused by Paged Out Memory. When your system is under high memory pressure, assets are shifted to the Page File on your hard drive. Since the DMA card cannot read from the hard drive, this causes undefined behavior.
Solution:
Recommended: Install additional System Memory (RAM) in your Game PC.
Not Recommended: You can disable the System Page File in Windows on your Game PC.
Warning: This can cause a BSOD if system memory is exhausted.
